I solved the issue by downgrading to windows 10, so far so go. I’ll give it more test this week and if there is any issue I’ll be back here.
For your information, windows 10 was one of the requirements. I think you already know that.
thanks… intresseting info… it mean its was a system issue ( update, whats ever ) or , if we assume you cleaned the pc completely ( all appdata folders are gone in that way ), an invalid file in appdata ( of course only for uses which had MSFS former installed on the pc, not a new install like in your case ).
Windows problems can be found with e.g. scans like sfc /scannow and the dism command.
How the cleanup appdata folder is mentioned in some topics and FAQ.
For your information I’m now running windows 10 up to date. Flight simulator version: 1.30.12.0
and Nvidia version: 516.49.
Yes I cleaned everything and started on a fresh disk, then I updated my windows, and right after that and before even installing anything I installed FS and it works right away.
Based on the number of reported CTDs, it seems likely that the issue is related to the system but for those already using windows 10, the only solution I can suggest is to find what is wrong with their system, and If possible, starting with a fresh installation of windows may be helpful in resolving the issue.
