CRJ 700 Throttle not working

So I play with an xbox control and this even happens when I use a keyboard but the throttles dont want to go back to idle well at the climb detent, Witch makes it hard to control the speed, I also cant bring the throttle down when I get close to the climb dentent, And this makes it basicly imposable to fly the plane,

There is also a bug were my ILS Approach isnt working, But that could just be user error.

Theres also when I turn off approach mode or attitude hold the plane just pitch’s up and stalls.

I honestly dont think this was worth 50 dollars,

Having the same issues, are you having yaw control problems. Cannot get it to work with the xbox controller

Go into the EFB settings and select the configure throttle on the second page of the options, and then press default and ok. then save it. This worked for me. But it may not for you, so try it out and lmk what happens.

In case it helps give the throttles a gentle notch with the mouse, then they will work normally. They weren’t moving with my quadrant event after configuring the axis in the EFB but once I “unlocked” the levers with the mouse they worked perfectly fine.

That worked!! Thanks!

Glad it worked! Happy flying!!!
You can mark my post as the solution so anybody who has the same problem will see this worked for you.

I had the same issue too, but now it works.

But i cant turn left or right with my xbox controller, when i want to taxi. I only can move straight back or forward. I checked fromm outside and there is no movement to right or left by the ruder when i press RT or LT.
Has anyone the same problem and/or an solution for that?

Yea everyone who uses an xbox controller has this issue. It seem like the triggers are binded to the rudder trim in the CRJ. Not sure what can be done

Thanks for the Information, not what i wantet to hear
I am in contact with Aerosoft Support, they said nearly the same. Ruder axis left and right are not working on the CRJ.
For taxi it is possible to use the nosewheel, if you use increase and decrease steering via Keyboard.

I hope they will update soon that Ruder axis work, nearly impossible to start without it. Specialy on sidewinds.

I actually use that controller and it’s a little tricky at first, but totally doable once you get a hang of it. Those rudder controls are VERY sensitive. If you press it ALL the way down, you won’t be able to turn. The key is manipulating it very gently. The lower your taxi speed, the more gentle you have to be. I have had zero issues taxiing with it in the last several flights I have done.

Actually go on youtube and type in “msfs crj throttle setup” and you will find a perfect guide. Also you got an information on how you match your throttle input with the different stages: cruse, climb, toga, full power. Important: you have to reset your axis in the control setup in msfs. all is explained in the videos!

Did you turn on the nose wheel steering toggle ?

If this trick works, it would be great if I didn’t get stuck on CLIM anymore when I want to reduce engine power.

I don’t think you can call this a “trick” when it’s mentioned in the documentation as a recommended step when you first get the addon. You did read the documentation, right?

I admit, Mr. Justice, like a large majority of us, I read very often (if not to say never …) the documentations.
