I’ve imported my flight plan from simbrief into the CRJ 700 successfully (KLAX to KSFO). At first it was fine, but it stopped following my flight plan even though NAV was on.
What could have caused this?

Probably a discontinuity or possibly a vector in the plan. You can see those on the Legs page. The easiest way around them is to take the waypoint below the discontinuity or vector and paste it on top of the discontinuity or vector.
