CRJ Throttle with todays up date

Been broken for a long time, no help today.

You’ll need aerosoft support from there forums

There’s a few posts there and troubleshooting

Aerosoft fixed in 1.0.0.4 throttle problem. Can download via ASUpdater or Marketplace

Thanks for the tips, but still not there yet, even after the so called hot fix. Over at aerosoft some got works arounds, some didn’t. I’ll just have to wait for the actual fix.

Actual fix is out. Works fine for me and many others.

Well not 100% yet? I have Hotas Warthog Joystick and Throttle. The Throttle was not working jumping all over the spectrum and only reaching 78% of power. Today it is not communicating correctly with Microsoft. Still only shows 78% in the external mode. The good news is that in the cockpit the NI is working correctly.

It sounds like you still are having a problem. But I assure you the fix from Aerosoft is out and working for others

It does seem they fixed the throttle surge issue…

I have it now. Was using 1 & 2 Axis 0-100 % in controls, which always worked. Change to Axis 1 & 2, now working normal. I don’t really understand the difference.

Awesome! Glad you got it working!

Using xbox controller- believe last time AS stated they didn’t test with an xbox controller. Seems like they should focus on making sure they have a variety of setups for testing?

My issue is the only way I can get thrust to decrease or increase is by having the calibrate throttle screen open and selecting default. If I leave this screen open the throttles work. If I click ok then everything stops working again. If I open the screen again and click defaults it works… So only way to fly is having the pad open with my calibrate controls screen open. Any suggestions?

Ever since I’ve used an aerosoft plane dating back to MSFS originals they seem to always have a strange throttle setup compared to all other companies?

Forgot to add- climb and reversers work fine- it’s everything from idle to climb that doesn’t work. Thanks!

Using Hotas Warthog Throttle.
Outside view: LVR only moves to 78% Power. % shows 0% even under full throttle.
Inside view: N1 does move correctly up to 95% N2 the same.
So it is flyable with the indicated N1 power. Still needs fine tuning to become 100%

All - I’ve got the same - I don’t have any throttle periphials so I can only control throttle via keyboard F1-F4, or increase/decrease throttle using gamepad r/h/s stick. It’s been broken since update 3 which took place on Thursday. I know an HOTFIX update has been Since been published over the weekend to the M/S Marketplace and the Aerosoft Updater, but I have the known issue of the Updater only finding X-Plane and my version was a direct download from the Aerosoft Website. Looking at the Version Number I am sure it contains the older one and NOT the hotfix as the zip file still has 1030 in the title and the installer dated 27th may - Guess they will be publishing this method a latter-date? anyone know?

I am also having this problem for the first time. I am using the T16000 and when I advance to full I get asymmetric power and only up to 30-50% N1. and then it fluctuates like crazy. I also note that the throttles do not move in the cockpit!

Did you recalibrate the throttle?

@sthackrey that’s impossible to do when you do not possess some actual throttle equipment and instead are using keyboard. They keyboard function worked absolutely fine until thursday 27th When the update broke everything throttle related. I can only go from 25% (Idle) to 80%-100% and nothin in between. I have seen on their own forums that they think they’ve fixed it and released a hotfix but as of last night either the hotfix hasn’t worked or their website download STILL contains last thursday’s version (I think the latter) Thier own updater unfortunately for me only detects my copies of X-plane (Standard & a separate install I made for Beta tests)

I am using the t16000 throttle which works perfectly in all other aircraft. As I say this is a new bug for me and makes the crj unusable.

Any news with this bug?

Took the CRJ for a flight yesterday (didn’t use it for a few weeks), at first I noticed that I can’t get enough power to taxi, had to jump to TOGA to get enough power in order to get to the runway.

Climbing was perfect, moved the throttle below TOGA when I reached cruising altitude and then the engine power dropped down to 25%. Had to jump to TOGA back to gain power, but then the plane had too much engine power and started gaining more altitude.

So there’s TOGA and Idle for me with nothing between them.

Did you calibrate the throttle?
