CRJ550/700 version 1.0.5 update today (6/3/21), what's in it?

I just updated the CRJ550/700 to version 1.0.5 update today (6/3/21). But I can’t find a change-log for it… what’s in this update?

I just ran the ASUpdater and there is no update available. Mine is still on: 1.0.4.0
I purchased mine direct from Aerosoft at the beginning of the week, and have only had the one update on it since then, which was a few days ago.
Where did you get the 1.0.5 update from?

  • Reversed function of the volume knobs on the audio panels
  • Removed High Power Sched annunciator flickering
  • Fixed wrong turn drawing for right turn intercept legs
  • Fixed wrong turn drawing for certain left turn overfly legs
  • Fixed condition that would make the flightplan drawing use 100% CPU (CAPPS3.WAVE to KDCA/RNAV19)
  • Fixed support for throttle control via keyboard, mouse and Xbox controller
  • Fixed flight director pitch bar misalignment

Run ASupdater and go to configuration.

I’ll run the update after i complete my current flight at the moment from LXGB to GCTS :grinning:

Important to know if you bought from Marketplace:

If you bought your CRJ at the FS marketplace: We just found out that there has been an issue with the manifest.json file and that the content manager still shows is as version 1.0.4. We checked the package and it actually is 1.0.5 (readme.txt and WASM files confirm this). This can’t be fixed right away, so please just uninstall and reinstall the CRJ to make sure you got the latest version.

Any major bugs still present in the CRJ? I remember something about VNAV not working, but I might be wrong.

ALL - I bought & downloaded the CRJ From Aerosoft’s own website - the zip file concerns me as it’s still titled 1030 - surely they haven’t kept the old “borked” (broken) version on there have they? I tried downloading the file again the other night after I heard they had applied a hotfix yet, still I had the same issue when using throttle via the keyboard (nothing until you get to the CLB detent). HOW can I get the new version as the updater doesn’t find the CRJ at all - only X-Plane.

It is still broken. CRJ causes MSFS to crash during simulator launch. Sim can only be launched by deleting the Aerosoft CRJ folder from the Official/OneStore folder.

From what I am reading I believe the error is with the version people purchased through the marketplace?

That is true of my issue. Aerosoft’s forum seems to indicate the same.

Oh my god they fixed throttle control for keyboard/controller. I am stunned, as I’ve reported this issue to them a while ago. I am so glad they fixed it and I am surely buying more of their products in future.

Is there file named as_aircraft-crj-550-700_msfs?

IF yes Run MSFS and select CRJ 700
Select airport and click fly.

Turn off msfs.

Run ASupdater as administrator.

All - it appeared as though the CRJ HAD been located by the update software (even though only x-plane appears in the dialogue box which appeared) but reading the blurb of what the software was actually saying it appears now as though it was trying to check some sort of online server over the weekend. Whether the above instruciton helped - I simply don’t know but I rechecked again after doing a full download and re-install and quick as a flash the updater suddenly worked, and I have to report the same satisfaction as @Jokabaku :smiley: Now to re-learn how to properly fly the soddin’ thing!
