CRJ700 entering icao in mfd - not in database

Microsoft Store version

not using Developer Mode

I am trying to enter a flight plan from KARV to KSFF. When I enter KSFF as destination, the mdf returns “not is database”. This icao exists in flight simulator as I can create a flight plan outside of CRJ700 with it as destination.

let me know if additional information is needed.

Thanks!

The CRJ and several other third party planes use their own Flight Planning logic engine. Please raise any potential defects with their respective manufacturers. Thanks.

Interesting. Thank you!

The minimum runway length in CRJ database is 4500ft. that field is just 1 feet too short, unfortunate

Any airport with runways less than 4500ft won’t show up as usable in the FMS. The FF757 had his problem in X-plane 11 but there was a way to edit a CFG to change the minimum runway requirement so any airport would show up in the FMS. Not sure if there is a way to do this with MFS aircraft though.

As I said before, interesting. Thanks!
