Wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue within the Carenado 182T. Quite a few times (more often then not actually) when in approach mode and the glide slope has been aquired. The plane will start to come down but at random times / spots aproach mode will deactivate.
Autopilot stays engaged, but aproach is deactived and I have to disenage AP and bring it down.
Wondering if this is a bug in the G1000, the Carenado 182T or MSFS.
The other thing I should mention is that I am arming it via the Bravo, wonder if something with that versus pressing APR on the KAP.
Have you got the addon G1000 mod?
If so do you have the latest version.
If not you may want to try it and see if it helps.
If the app mode on the autopilot is shown as on, it isn’t a Bravo issue.
No I don’t have this one installed, but I do have the G1000NXi from the market place.
There is a prefix,
" This is a mod to the default G1000 that adds only our legacy engine management pages. This should only be used if you ARE NOT using the G1000NXi from the Marketplace. Neither this package, nor the G1000NXi will work correctly if installed at the same time."
So given it is not an NXi in the 182T, would I uninstall the marketplace one and install this when using that plane?
