CT182T RPM Drop (Magneto Test)

Good morning forum,

I have continue my progression and have now started to fly the Carenado 182T (first flight last night). As I was going through the checklists I noticed that the RPM doesn’t really drop (about 10RPM) when switching from both to L or R magneto’s.

Is this expected behaviour or a bug?

Thanks in advance.

I don’t have this addon, but Carenado’s strength has always been in their great visuals.
The rest left a lot to be desired, so it probably isn’t modeled accurately

Thanks, I have also submitted it to Carenado to see what they say, but wanted to see if anyone here with that plane saw the same or if I was donig something incorrectly with RPM / Power settings during the test.

As @TheSevenflyer mentioned, Carenado makes really pretty models… some of the best visuals in MSFS. Systems modelling however, almost always falls short of (my) expectations.

The C182T is very pretty, and flies in a very docile manner. Landings are fun and easy. Just don’t expect to mimic real-world behavior. And just in case you’re wondering… a real C182T does not sound like the Carenado model. If it did, I’d taxi over to the A&P and find another bird to fly!
