I’m at a loss as to why I am getting CTD consistently every time I update the SDK. I’ve been attempting to compile an aircraft and scenery. each time before the console window pops up the sim crashes. I then have to reinstall the launcher from the windows store. I have completely emptied out my community directory. Uninstalled the previous SDK. Installed the newest version and then try again. Each an every time I get a CTD. Then quite typically one day I will randomly try to compile again and it will work. Typically it will continue to work up until the next SDK release. Any thoughts or tricks on how to resolve this?
Not quite solved. But I went through and compiled the sample aircraft. I can now compile again… No CTD. Now every compile works fine.
Glad to know it works fine for you know.
The same issue happened for me as soon as i tried to open my SDK project; then, i noticed the issue started since the latest Nvidia graphic driver version being installed.
My solution to fix the problem was installing the “Nvidia Studio Driver” version, instead of the “Game Ready Driver” version. Otherwise, i solved just installing an older version of both types.
I was having the same issue, but rolling back the driver to 460.89 fixed it for me.
