CTD happening consistently moments before landing. How can I troubleshoot?

Using the Steam version of MSFS on PC, RTX4080, 32GB of RAM.

This has happened a few times while flying the PMDG 737-700 in various parts of the world, generally on shorter, ~30min-1 hour flights. Everything will be running fine and smooth until I start getting closer to the airport. Then, before landing things start to slow down. Sometimes it will just immediately crash, other times it’ll hitch and freeze up for a a bit, with consistently longer periods between pauses before it finally crashes.

I noticed last time this happened that my RAM usage was increasing quite a bit before the crash, then when the program crashes all that RAM is released. Could it be crashing due to using too much RAM? Is that a thing?

Observed this RAM usage pattern, the moment it crashes is when the graph drops off.
