Just updated the latest update today with the Australian Land update and the latest NVIDIA drivers 511.65 and now I’m getting CTD once again. Seems this is becoming a classic scenario with every MSFS update. I have the Windows store bought version. Anyone else having this issue?
Why upgrade both at the same time? Maybe you should revert the drivers

This could be a server issue! Seems like some other people have this issue and there are issues with live weather also! In my experience, most CTDs are related to servers and Asobo needs to figure that out.

No I didn’t do them at the same time. I just noticed my Geforce Experience just changed my graphics settings on its own. For some odd reason, Geforce Experience seems to think my default is medium graphics but I generally run high to ultra. It reverts me back to medium without my knowledge. I restarted the game and back on the flight, so I will see how it goes. I know I have gotten so used to CTD’s that I save my flight about every 50nm. I learned to do this even when FSX was having CTD problems.
Now you mention, I have been having trouble with live weather again. Where I live in Oklahoma it is snowing for real like crazy at the moment. When I started the sim, it was clear 18c and 29.92. You are probably very correct.
So here’s what I did - downloaded the latest Nvidia Driver, did the MSFS Nav Update and Win10 update, rebooted the system, cranked up the sim then locked the frame rate to 30 and set system to medium. Happy Days…on my way from YPDN to WSSS FL400. WSSS next.
and you are realy sure that you have Geforce Experience Game-AUTO-Optimization Disabled ?
Otherwise these tool will reset nothing from itself… and Disabling Auto-Optim. should be the first action after installing Gef.Exp.

It’s turned off, it does this every time the Geforce drivers are updated. Last night after I restarted MSFS using the normal ultra settings, the CTDs stopped.
I read that, is there any known reason the live weather is down during those times.
No official reason.
Several of us believe it is a loss of weather data input to the server because you can still use historic weather, so the server itself must be up.

Does it still CTD on safe mode? I’ve been getting 100% CTD if I have certain mods on in the community folder.
Same issue here, I had like 12hours of different fly with different aircraft 2days before the World update, then some hours before it the live weather went down, bing data don’t appears everywhere, and then crash…
The online monitor said the server where partially down.
Are they really ok now ? The indicator IS green…
Yes, shortly before the update was released there were server issues.

I just had another CTD when starting a flight from Cancun to Kingston. I’m not so sure it’s my network or their server. I have been plagued with a major winter storm over last 48 hours. Major for Oklahoma, 4 inches of snow LOL
I had 2 CTD when starting MSFS. I paid for a thing that can not be used!
I had a lot of CTD when I first started playing MSFS. I found out it was how I installed MSFS on my D drive. I bought a 1TB solid state and installed MSFS solely on the solid state as C drive and it solved a lot of my problems.
