The CTD always seems to happen between BRAVS and GIFFY close to 7A5 airport near Roanoke, after a hour and a half of flying at around 160kts at 10,000ft. I haven’t pinned it for certain to there, but the last 3 times I’ve made note of it and it’s right along there. I was hoping SU11 would have fixed it but not so.
Same. Different flight path, reversed flight plan as well, but almost impossible now to fly more that 1 or 2 hours without CTD. Repeating with same results = insanity? Maybe, it’s makin’ me crazy…
Got the CTD again on the same flight, this time around 1GE2 airport (1hr. 15 mins in). The only thing that’s the same is the 120.45 freq. Each time this CTD has happened is when I’m in that area and on that ATC freq. along the flight path.
I’ve narrowed it down. The only (and I mean ONLY) flight I can do without CTDs is from Denver to Lubbock, 242 miles. Anything longer, anything that deviates from that straight line shot is CTD. After completing 1800 hours prior to WU11, I see a bleak future. Maybe Asobo could offer an E-mail service and notify me when this dumpster fire works again…
It’s more than just this flight. Experience it on most flights. I just noticed on this flight it always happens in same area. Been trying other flights and still get CTDs. Went ahead today and filed a bug report. It’s to the point I’m about to give up on MSFS.
I’ve flown your flight plan with various stock aircraft at various altitudes without any problems. I don’t have the NextGen EMB-110 so I cannot replicate your issue exactly.
It turns out I’m having these CTDs on just about all flights now that last more than 30mins, not just this one. The thing with this one though is I can almost always tell what area it will happen in.
