CTD recently, once every three-ish flight…

After updating to the recent update 13, I’ve started experiencing CTD mostly during flights but
sometimes during the flight set up screens as well. Did the usual emptying the community folder and such during the update install so I assume that the update isn’t the reason for CTD. Also I don’t have any freeware mods in my community folder.

I use Varjo Aero for all my sim flights in VR and one that I am beginning to speculate as possible culprit of the CTD is that I’ve switched on the desktop mode ON in my Varjo Base settings. Prior to the sim update, I’d had the desktop mode off. I’ve yet to test if CTD will happen with the mode back OFF but had anyone else experienced something similar?

What I would do is remove everything external to the sim itself if you are unsure. No Community mods, not VR, no external tools connecting to the sim. See if the sim is stable then. If it is, then start adding things back. Perhaps start with your VR setup, and see if the crashes return. Shouldn’t take you long to find the culprit if your sim is crashing as often as you indicate.
