Hey friends…lately im having trouble with ctd
i didnt play game for about 2 month then when i return and updated my game it started to ctd during startup and loading and even before menu pop up
i tried every way that was in forums such as changing pagefile and vanilla state and reinstalled the game ((ms store)) even but it didnt solve… any ideas or suggestion?
Here is a link to the “Support” article:
I did exactly this even twice
Following this checklist will provide links to five others.
Have you completed all these?
yes but didnt see any change …could it be due internet problem? because i got bad network
Yes, it certainly would, as the sim is streamed to you through the net.
The sim would take terrabytes of info to install on a PC, so the servers send most of the sim to you as you use it.
One last thing, if you haven’t already is:
one thing some times menu pops up but it ctd
instantly
It could be a corrupt save, and the above will correct that.
If it doesn’t, it likely could be your network connection.
tnx man i check it again and inform You
i did them all and now mostly it load to menu and ctd in menu not in loading| and have this error in event viewer but i had this even before

Here is a thread for “Exception code: 0x80000003”
no help cause every thing in thread is to reinstall and increasing pagefile that i did before
do you think reseting pc is helpful? before this ctd i used to have a bug that by connecting my mouse to pc the game ctd is that related?
The only time I personally had an issue with the sim CTD’s I did the same as you, I went through every checklist with no luck.
I ended up resetting Windows 10.
It caused me to lose almost all of my saved info, and took a long long time to get everything I had in the PC set back up, but it did the trick.
If you are pretty sure it isn’t your internet, it might be worth a try, but remember, you will lose a lot of info, and there is always the chance it may not work.
i’ll try because there is no way that i havnt tried …wish it get ok ![]()
Such as what?
Everything can be backed up if you know where to look.
I transferred to a whole new PC and everything is as I had it just fine. Do you mean aircraft hour logs, profiles etc?
Of course if the issue is with cloud save and you need to reset that, then you will lose some stuff (control presets, log book - but you can still access the hours flown). If you are going down this road of reinstalling Windows, I would start with a reinstall but NOT reset the cloud and see if that solved your problem first.
Resetting Window’s ( not the sim) will cause you to lose a lot of info that was on your PC.!
Not if you back it up first. What things do you mean?
A post was split to a new topic: CTD’s After WUXIII Update
I believe it was for corrupt file in system not only the game file because i used to have problem with windows file but now after format sofar every things seems well
At the end for those who have this problem such as mine I had , I suggest You to go to your
C:\Users.…\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe ((ms store)) folder and first go in localstate then dce and delete dce content then go to packages in localstate and delete them all then delete dat files in LocalCache\sceneryindexes and open LocalCache\SimObjects and delete all planes in LocalCache\SimObjects\Airplanes then open xbox app and log out then delete all cloud saves ((link is shared in this discussion)) and login as your account ((for me that i had game pass had no problem by using an other account)) then try again
i believe its last solution for who tried every thing hope it helps you
