Hello , I’m having a non common issue with my start up. I’ve never had this happened until this update came live. I’m trying to update my sim and every time I start up the sim I get nothing but CTD. I don’t even make it to the “checking updates window.” I cleaned out my community folder to see if that was the issue but it still keeps doing it. I went into the MS Store and everything is installed. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Same, I finish the update… Content manager updated… restart my PC many times… the community folder is empty… whenever I start a flight it CTD!!
Since the MSFS released, this is the 1st time am facing CTD!!

I can’t even start my update because it just crashes to desktop.

It can’t be that servers are overloaded either. I don’t see why that would cause a CTD.
I had the same issue and found that disabling Process Lasso allowed the sim to run.
Can you show me how to disable it? I currently do have process lasso

Yup, me too! Twice from startup screen.
Then I actually got in to load a simple flight, but on takeoff it started to freeze and stutter then CTD. Now I’m hesitant to go through it all again just to have it crash.

Wow. Unacceptable. Do you have Process Lasso? @MoonstalkerWuff mentioned that was causing the CTD. I’m going to uninstall that and give it a try. Hopefully I don’t have to install the whole simulator itself.
I just right clicked on the system tray icon and exited the application for now.
Up dated the sim and now it CTDT nevcer had this before comunity folder empty, I get as far loading were it says TAKE THE PILOTS SEAT and then CTDT.
Great… so after waiting 7 hours for this download, I have this issue to now look forward to…
If this new CTD issue has a quick fix with this “Process Lasso”, can someone please explain how exactly to do this?
Instead of mentioning (twice here) you have this solution without further instructions. It defeats this forum!

No, he’s pretty much saying to disable Process Lasso. If you don’t have it installed then you don’t have to worry about it so those CTD are your end is something else. I still have to try disabling Process Lasso since I had it installed ever since the sim came out. I’ll come back with results.

I had Process Lass installed and was getting CTDs on loading the sim. Disabled Process Lasso, still getting the CTD.
Same behavior for me and my friend on 3 different computers. Disabling project lasso had no affect on the resolution for CTD
Uffff coming back from installing the sim. Installation went perfect. Quit the sim to restart my PC and now MSFS doesn’t want to launch… what in the world…

Has anyone fixed this? After installing the update, every time I try to start MSFS I get a CTD at some point during the load screen showing the Cub and the rhino.
My sim has been bricked.
I should add that I have never had process lasso installed.
I updated my Nvidia drivers and can now get to the main UI. Also successfully started a flight.
