Well, I think you’ve already identified your issue: using Microsoft Edge. I’d suggest a third-party browser, you’ll get a better browsing AND simming experience.
Does it with full screen sim and Chrome occasionally for me. Sim will lock up and only way to kill it is via Task Manager.
Edge is effectively Chrome anyway so related.

I can confirm I’ve had several CTDs with Edge open.
And I just had one complete freeze (not a CTD) of MSFS when returning to it from Edge. The hardware acceleration in Edge is off as well.

Seriously, Edge is a device you use to get those other browsers and then download a tool to uninstall Edge.
No, the current version of Edge is pretty good, at least on par with the other browsers.

Interesting. Same here. CTD with Edge open and then for the past several days no CTD with just Firefox open. I will continue testing this.
I’ve found the same thing. I get CTDs/Blue Screens of death like crazy browsing with edge during a flight. Chrome has zero issues.
