CTD when choosing aircraft in free flight

  • Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 or 2024: 2024

  • Version Build Number (Where do I locate that?): 1.1.7.0

  • Game Platform (Exampe: Steam, Xbox, MS Store): MS Store

:white_check_mark: ISSUE DESCRIPTION

  1. Description of the issue: When entering free flight mode, choosing an aircraft immediately results in a CTD.

  2. Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue? Yes

How often does this occur for you? (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently): Everytime

:white_check_mark: REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue.

  1. Load sim
  2. Enter free flight
  3. Choose an aircraft (ES30, A330)

Same experience here. Nonstop crashes/freezes all day. Uninstalled and going back to 2020.

I was hoping that the patch may have fixed this issue. I was wrong!

• I had CTDs couple of days now when I choose A330. Yesterday and today taht stops. Now I have CTDs when I use any diffrenet livety than main one. ^c CTDs yesterday and I left the sim for night. Today 4 x ctds already.

I have CTDs whenever I try to a zoom in on the world or start a flight. Must be when it’s loading in additional info.
