CTD When Disconnecting Virtual Device

Hello all,

I am using Thrustmaster’s Target software with MSFS. This software takes all the individual Thrustmaster controllers connected to the PC and combines them into a single virtual device.

Now and then, I have to stop the Target script running in order to do some editing. This will disconnect the virtual device and MSFS stops responding and eventual will CTD.

From reading other posts this is known and will happen.

Apparently unplugging any USB device will do this also.

Thank you Salem,

Yes, I did read somewhere that disconnecting USB devices causes this. But this being a virtual device created by Target, it is somewhat more of an issue for I cannot edit the script without a disconnection and then CTD. I need the sim running to see what’s going on with buttons and axes.

I wish it would work as it does in DCS where the disconnected virtual device is simply not recognized anymore by the sim and there is no CTD.
