Brief description of the issue: This behaviour is reproduced 100% of the times with any official or third party aircrafts. After installing a new aircraft the first flight must be done with the first livery (default livery, which is the first entry in the airplane config file) or a crash to desktop will occur. It does not matter if the aircraft is official or third party or if the livery is official as well or a third party one. The sim crashes and then next time the same flight is launched with same aircraft it runs fine. Apparent reason for the crash is the generation process of the auxiliary config variables (state.CFG file) located at:
\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\SimObjects\Airplanes
After the first time crash the variables are existing there and airplane loads normally. This behaviour can be also reproduced by simply deleting the related SimObjects folder for an existing aircraft.
The config variables are also generated by loading the aircraft in the hangar once, but the sim still crashes in the first flight after doing that, even if the default livery was used at the hangar.
Provide Screenshot(s)/video(s) of the issue encountered: Not applicable.
Detail steps to reproduce the issue encountered:
-
Install a new airplane (or alternatively delete SimObjects folder for an existing plane)
-
Start a flight at any airport using any of the liveries which is not the first one (default livery) in the config file for the airplane. Any of the official liveries or a custom made livery will trigger the CTD.
