hmmm… I have Steam, but assume its comparable.
I removed a folder on an airplane here:
AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\SimObjects\Airplanes
and it is auto re-created without issues
Also choosen a airplane I never flew and its created a new folder.
