Flew(A320FBW) from LGIR to LGSM (Orbx), landed, parked (8) and saved the flight
Restarted the sim, loading the flight from world map and CTD.
Landing at LGIR, saving the flight (FLT) there, and the loading the flight also causes CTD

Generally speaking loading saved FLTs can be a dice roll. Even though you’re at the gate, the sim doesn’t gracefully save state.
For point to point like that, the current way is manually note fuel state (assuming you’re not getting serviced), gate, weight, time and weather and load a flight plan from scratch. If you’re using Live WX, there’s no workaround for that. You get what you get.
Well, I guess I still have some naive expectations that MSFS should have the FSX basic functionality like loading flights and start the flight from where you were the last time, like in a turn-around situation with the plane in the same config as I left it.
It seem like loading a FLT with the plane on route works. And also with the flightplan if the original plan is saved with the same name as the FLT fie name.
No, the aircraft saved state ( both stock and using WT mods - my experience) isn’t intact. FPL is lost, if at altitude where icing occurs, aircraft is frozen over, many switches and systems off or reset. The saved state has already been asked as a Wishlist item, not B&I.
I tend to stay away from those files. Using the PLN only. But I think those are only saving the actual flight plan, nothing else.
It’s really one of my big gripes with this sim: the whole system around it is buggy and sometimes silly.
So you want to load your flight plan: you first have to click a button. Then there’s a screen with a load button, and then you have to click that load button.
Come on… is that XBox logic? And on and on…

What meant was that at least the FPL is there, the rest can be restored manually.
Few minutes ago, tried to load a .PLN file, which was dated 9-16-2021, I was given by friend who develops Airplanes. The Sim CTD immediately. Tried to restart game, again it CTD’ed. Restarted PC, and trying to reload game. Well it started up. Found PLN app on MS Store, so going to get that to read plan, somthing wrong with PLN it CTD the pln app. Today is not going well, amazon sent me the wrong part as clearly I ordered a different one on the order. Must be solar flare or something.
