CTD when PC disconnect Xbox! Thought it was fixed? nope!

Do you have any add-ons in your Community folder? If yes, please remove and retest before posting.
Flying the FlyByWire at the time of CTD and yes I do have mods in the folder.

Are you using Developer Mode or made changes in it?

Brief description of the issue:
Around an hour into the flight my Xbox wireless controller got discounted as I was not using it for more than 5mins it’s normal to do that. MAde the sim freeze and then CTD right away :frowning:

I thought it would have been fixed some time ago but I had not had this in months and now it’s back

Detail steps to reproduce the issue encountered:
Just did a normal flight, with the controller being on to get the cameras, that what I use it for :slight_smile: and like I said disconnected and CTD

Yes, in my case however does it without mods in the community folder. It’s a well-known error that still happens.

Yes and no, Mostly disable for flights

Brief description of the issue:
Using the wireless Xbox PC controller to deal with movements of cameras and since I do not have a thruster I use the controller to just power the mixture as I’m using the joystick.

Anyway, after 5mins of not using my controller since I was in flight, it automatically powers off and disconnects itself, normal to do so. Yet I still get it, when it goes and disconnects, makes the sim to CTD.

The video below disconnects the sim freeze then the sounds stop then to the desktop. I did not touch anything I just let it load or crash. I had to redo the flight again and keep the controller not to disconnect itself. what a pain - I thought it was fixed, seems not. The outcome for me to not use the controller and have to use hard other methods and no more drone cam.

-Xbox controller on and open the sim with everything on and connected
-Setup flight and do whatever you do to fly, A320 or whatever
-once flying and I no longer need to use the controller I place it down to get gets disconnected.

Are you using the controller with bluetooth or an xbox wireless dongle?

If bluetooth, make sure your drivers are up to date.

Also, if you plug the controller in to a power source (micro-usb port on the back of controller), it will not go to sleep.

xbox wireless dongle, and I do not have that option to connect micro-USB
