ISSUE DESCRIPTION
Description of the issue:
CTD when trying to start a flight at WX53 (stock hand-crafted airstrip) in VR within a minute or so. Also when starting at another airstrip and trying to land at WX53.

Always, within ~1 minute after activating VR.
REPRODUCTION STEPS
Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:
- Start Free Flight at WX53, any aircraft.
- Start VR when the aircraft has settled on the runway.
- CTD within ~1 minute.
