My MSFS CTD’s when trying to open MSFS after SU6. I have the most up-to-date drivers. On my desktop it works fine but not my laptop. It worked fine before SU6 on my laptop.

NOTE:
Yes I am aware my laptop is below minimum specs, but it was working without a hitch before SU6 and now I can’t even launch it.

I’ve been running MSFS with no CTDs for quite a few months, but just got one with the same exception code as you did (although admittedly that code is quite common). I did notice that the loading screens took a LOT longer than usual when I started the game. I’m thinking the server problems aren’t all resolved.

wow… it’s possible to play this game on a integrated GPU ? I assume its what you already mentioned:

points to an issue related to the GPU. Not sure whether this is because changes for DX12 or may be you just have a driver issue.

PS: I never understand why peoples buy a laptop, and in special this kind of laptop, for playing games like MSFS :-/

Could be that is all they have to use for playing MSFS etc.

I had CTD after installing SU6 - until I realized that I had accidentally activated all 4 Bijan seasons! After deactivating the 3 I did not need, FS2020 launched without problems.

meant it in a way thats for “gamers” its often better to buy a PC where you have the possibility to switch to a newer GPU ( I not speak from the expensive one , just a better one as integrated GPUs ). These kind of laptops are just not made for gaming.
