Sim CTD with or without Community folder at the READY TO FLY screen.
Completed a flight this morning (Australia time), went to commence another flight and crash at the READY TO FLY screen.
I had not made any changes or added anything to the community folder.
I logged out of Steam and back in and also Xbox Live with the same end result.
My thoughts are that the servers are having an issue or something in the sim changed, if that is the case I have no idea how it might have changed.
Any suggestions gratefully accepted.
Yeah same. And stuttering at airports. Still terrible.
Don’t know what the problem was.
Went into Steam and deleted MSFS and reinstall,
Hopefully it will work again.
Well, reinstalled the sim and still have the same issue.
Get to the ready to Fly screen and the thing falls over.
Cleared the Community Folder out and still the same, so what the hell is going on.
Yesterday worked fine till the end of a flight and at the next flight it started playing up. As I said in previous post here nothing changed in Community folder or settings.
The sim is taking an inordinate amount of time to load once I have selected airports, weather etc.
Saw that there was a development update on the 13 May, seems to fit in with when my issues started.
I would suggest that ASOBO needs to look at what is happening at this time.

You have the same graphic card as mine! The sim crashes as soon as the NVIDIA drivers update! I am stuck at version 452.06. Try it out and see if it that works for you.
I’ll give that a go, thanks
Thanks for the suggestion.
The sim was working on the latest drivers. As you suggested I went back to 452.06 drivers but, no joy.
Back to the drawing board I guess.
Thanks again
Phil
Oh Man! This sim sure is something to deal with! Once it runs though it’s great! Hope they will resolve these issues soon.
