I have recently read that many have problems with the updated 787 Dreamliner. I was just testing a start from Heathrow with her and crashed just while on taxiway. Is there a work arround or is the 787 now just broken until Asobo will fix it? I dont use addons nor play in dev mode.
Steam/PC version user here. Also VR user.
I have tried two flights with the 787 and both times CTD’ed. Was able to restart each time, then successfully complete the flight. Both times were from O’Hare (KORD).
No idea what the issue is. I did recently upgrade from the standard version of MSFS to the Premium Deluxe version so I could use this great aircraft. Not sure if there’s something related to the upgrade or what. Only have two data points, but two out of two flights CTD’ed and haven’t had CTD issues in a long time with this sim. So… Just posting as someone else who has experience this. Are there others?
I am customer of Prmeium Deluxe Version right from the start. Interesting that you experience the same. Since no one else joined this thread i fear its a problem only for the two of us.
I’m not sure it’s specific to the 787… I had the same random CTD using the Longitude… then again last night using the BlackSquare Analog Guage Bonanza…

I recently started to fly the 787 again. Every flight I have started in the last 3 days causes a CTD about 3 minutes after takeoff. I do not have this issue with any other airplane or flights. Only the 787, and every single time. No recent mods or software installed. I get an error message, sometimes, that just says click here to terminate program. This is 9 flights now, again only with 787.
Same here. 787 is playing fine then the whole game shuts down all of a sudden and I am staring at my desktop wondering what just happened!
