I had a similar problem last week. After a year without issues I started getting a white screen and then the sim would crash. Nothing worked until I found a thread in these forums regarding Microsoft visual c + +. After uninstalling those, and installing an up to date all in one package I’m now up and flying again. I’m by no means as good with computers as most on these forums, and consequently have no idea what this process did, but it worked!
