CU1 = City Update?

Not that many. Germany never really got hold in the GA market after the war and built many aircraft in cooperations with France or Britain (Alpha Jet, Tornado, C-160 Transall, Eurofighter). Most foreign aircraft for the German Luftwaffe were built in license (UH-1D, F-104, P.149 …)
The most successful single aircraft company after the war probably was Dornier, but it‘s defunct now too. And most of the post-war Dornier aircraft (Do 27 and Do 28 in particular) were primarily designed for military use. Then there‘s the Do 228 which was the most successful civilian aircraft and developed into the Do 328 as a rival to the ATR. But that didn‘t work out so well. Dornier being bought by Fairchild didn‘t help either.
All the others (Focke-Wulf, Messerschmitt, Junkers etc.) merged over time into VFW or MBB and what‘s left is part of Airbus today. The same thing happened with many French and Italian companies.
