Description of the issue: I start the flight and set custom time when flight is loaded. Time remains still. Let’s say I set time 10:00 and start my startup procedure. After a few minutes the time is still 10:00. Weather and daylight conditions are not changing as well. Custom time can be set before loading the flight or during the flight. Doesn’t matter. The custom time stops working when I simply go to the weather menu.
Weather: Live or custom. Doesn’t matter.
FREQUENCY OF ISSUE
How often does this occur for you: every single time I go to the weather menu
REPRODUCTION STEPS
Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:
Set free flight and set custom time
As soon as the flight is loaded go to the weather menu
Now notice the custom time is not working anymore. It stops.

As soon as I go to this menu the custom time you set stops working. I mean just wait for like 5 minutes and open this weather menu again. You will see the same 10:00.
Today I noticed that setting custom time before the flight is not really a workaround. I had 90-minute flight today and the time was completely still from start to finish.
Here is good and obvious demonstration of the custom time glitch. Piper Arrow has clock on its yoke. I set custom time BEFORE the flight to 17:00 and started a flight.
I have had this issue! This happens EVERY single flight that I fly. I noticed, if you open the settings (or just press escape) and return to the simulator, the time would jump to how long it has been since flying. So in your case, if you were to go into the menu and back the time in the simulator would be 17:27, but it will remain stuck until you open the menu again.
We have created an internal ticket to see if our team already has this logged, and if not they will attempt to reproduce the issue and create a new bug report. This item is now marked as feedback-logged. If there is an existing bug report or one is created, we will move this thread to bug-logged.
When I choose live time in the menu prior to loading in, it will not update as time goes by in real life leading to custom time being selected when loading in. This problem only occurred after the update to SU4.
Weather: Live
This issue does not occur if I can manage to select live time and spawn in within the same minute, then live time will work as expected.
FREQUENCY OF ISSUE
Every time.
REPRODUCTION STEPS
Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:
Select live time in menu, and wait for the minute to tick over in real life.
Spawn in
See that the sim is now set to whatever the time was when you enabled live time in the menu instead of live time as it should be.

Note:
My local time is CET, hence the one hour difference from UTC in the screenshots.
Yup! Weather/METAR time always stays at 1x - even when flying with sim rate 8x. It’s completely immersion breaking on long haul flights when using sim rate, as the weather/METAR at destination is many hours behind the sim time that moved with 8x etc.
I landed at CYVR last night coming from EGLL. Arrival time per sim was 00:25 UTC, yet the METAR per EFB was still showing 1500z.
It’s been reported many times but I haven’t seen it acknowledged by the devs as a bug yet. Would be nice to at least hear it’s on their radar as I can replicate it 100% of the time.
