Custom weather density slider issue

 Thank you using the Bug section, using templates provided will greatly help the team reproducing the issue and ease the process of fixing it.

Are you using Developer Mode or made changes in it?

NO

Brief description of the issue:

When designing a custom weather theme, the density slider for the top layer has no affect. Instead, the bottom layer’s density slider controls the density for both bottom and top layers.

Provide Screenshot(s)/video(s) of the issue encountered:

Detailed steps to reproduce the issue encountered:

Start with the ‘Clear Sky’ preset and add both a bottom and top cloud layer and then see that both layers are controlled only with the bottom layers control (density control).

PC specs and/or peripheral set up if relevant:

Build Version # when you first started experiencing this issue:

I believe it started in SU7 but it exists now after SU8. SU9 is currently in beta and I’m NOT in the beta.

Could this be related to the lack of overcast in live weather?

Yes, I have a similar bug. The sliders control both.

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:

It controls both layers, and provides a UNIVERSAL application of ISA rather than separate (thus eliminating any chance of inversion or simulation of any fronts ). Also, the ISA slider at the top calculates everything by default in AGL, not MSL.

Asobo should consider making it MSL since that is what ISA is based off of, not AGL. The whole live weather and weather API should get opened up for third party interaction.

This problem was fixed for me. Have you tried making the top layer thicker or have you tried designing a theme in a semi mountainous region? (the top layer is influenced by terrain)(which is very cool imo)
