Cyhu 100 mph on the runway icon5

Im flying out of St-Hubert , cyhu, icon5 full throttle , parking brakes off, shows 100 mph , just sitting there shakinging.
sometimes it works. Most of the time not.

You have active pause on, I expect.

I don’t think so. Doesn’t Active Pause freeze everything? In my case it just sits on the runway while I apply throttle, and i can see the speed at 80 to 100 mph . The throttle is still active and the planes shakes a lot.
I’m not at my computer, but will try again later tonight or tomorrow morn.

My guess would be that if you were to tap the “Pause” button, your A5 would suddenly hurtle along the ground.

But it doesn’t start in pause mode, so any new flight you start should not have this issue, but if you want to try it, try the following:

  1. Start on a runway, engine running, and at idle.
  2. Hit the pause key to pause the sim.
  3. Advance the throttle to full, and wait say 10 seconds.
  4. Tap the Pause key.

Just did CYHU - CYUL in the A5 and no issues fo rme.

Yeah.. seems I may have had Active Pause on. Tried it a few times, seems ok now.

Me thinks you were correct. I may have had Active Pause on. It seems to work better now, especially after I disconnected my second monitor.
