I am having trouble taxiing the DA40 NG and I noticed a flutter in the rudder when I attempt to turn to the right. See the video at 14 seconds.

i take it you are sure that’s not an issue with your input device/joystick?

Well, if I use the Thrustmaster Control Master Tester, there is no flutter in my stick. You can’t see it much, but in the video, before I command the right turn, I also command a left turn and there is no flutter. That’s about the extent to which I know how to test the joystick.
what happens if you open the sensitivity settings, where you can see the raw input of the device
does the problem show up there too?
Not that I can see - any unevenness is caused by my hand.
well i can see that it is at least a bit jittery in the video
try giving it the harsh treatment for a few seconds to see if that clears up
