Currently, the tablet position on DA-62 is obscuring a significant portion of frontal view. This tablet position is creating significant blind spot and would be unadvised in real life.
In MSFS (esp. on a single/smaller display) it obstructs a significant portion of the view, making VFR harder to follow and occluding the pretty scenery outside.
While it is possible to remove the tablet (by clicking the button on it), in this particular aircraft it still leaves quite obstructing mounts/wiring.
To fix it, I have 3 alternative suggestions:
to move the tablet into less obscuring position (see attachment)
add an option to hide the tablet mounting
allow the tablet mounting position to be adjusted in the airplane

All issues caused by or involving third-party addons/mods should be reported to the third-party developer. Assure that no addons/mods are used when reporting issues in Bug Reports.
I think this post has merrit on it’s own. It is about better positioning in that particular airplane. Hiding doesn’t help if you want to use it. Maybe it should be sth. to vote on indeed.
I would disagree with this not being a bug. Absolutely no one in their right mind would say “yep we should definitely cover half of the windshield with a tablet.”
Also FAA regs AC 120-76E sections 10.5 and 10.5.1 both illustrate that this should not be done.
