yes

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:

when switch is OFF indication “PITOT HT OFF” should be displayed and when ON no indication should be displayed. I assume should be the same logic than on the DA62 (see below screenshots)

If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:

DA40 pitot heat OFF

DA40 pitot heat ON

For reference, DA62 pitot heat OFF

DA62 pitot heat ON

If you don’t already have the DA40NGX mod installed, I highly recommend it. I have it, but it’s been a while since I’ve flown it (prefer the DA62). Among many other great features, I believe it does provide feedback as to pitot heat status. Also, unless it’s already icy, don’t turn it on until you’re in the air or it will overheat and show a fail warning.

I just confirmed that your recommended mod does in fact provide pitot heat status on the PFD.

I also confirmed that this bug in the stock Asobo version is valid.

As an aside, Tom, I still use your recommended nose wheel steering contact point adjustments for multiple stock Asobo aircraft. Couldn’t live without them!
