In case you do not want to or cannot use the G1000NXi mod but the legacy G1000 mod but experience the black screen bug, here is how to resolve it correctly (no dirty hacks). Go to your Community folder and from there open these subfolders workingtitle-g1000 > html_ui > WorkingTitle > Pages > VCockpit > Instruments > NavSystems > AS1000 > MFD.
