I forgot the engines.cfg, like totally forgot the file
Thanks for the timely update. Thanks for your hard work!
The autopilot transition from FLC to Alt or Alt to FLC is very smooth either descending or ascending. Much better than before the patch. But I notice that the autopilot transition from pitch to FLC results is a very noticable nose drop. Recovers fairly quickly, but not as good as it was before the patch.
Also the DA62X never generates a logbook entry any more, but any standard aircraft does generate a logbook entry. This was not the case before the patch. Seems to be a common problem across community folder aircraft. I am guessing that as liveries also fail now that Asobob may have changed some values on the standard aircraft that impact logbook entry (and liveries) and that also needs to be refelcted in community folder aircraft.
There is also a problem with community folder content (aircraft only I think) that impacts both the marketplace and the content manager. Both work immediately after you start MSFS, but fail to laod only a short time later. Have to do some more investigation to pinpoint what exactly in the community folder is the issue, or if it is even community folder content.
yeah, they fixed that, but thats the only thing that has improved.
Can someone just give a quick explanation on what the difference is between FullFADEC, NoNFADEC and PROP Control? Also this is only for the Legacy flight model?
So will you be able to fix the nose dive on change from pitch mode to FLC? You seemed to have enginerred this out nicely in the version before the patch.
He said because of the ap changes in the patch, that hes got to retune the autopilot again. Iām sure itās coming. Community doing some amazing work.
Incredible how the community is already improving this sim. Thank you very much for the hard work and time spent on it.
Please take this post as my way to express my gratitude to everyone involved in this amazing work.
After some testing the logbook issue I reported earlier is unrelated to the DA62X or any other aircraft for that matter. Its just a random issue MSFS throws up.
I also notice the wobble at low power settings is gone after the last update.
thank you!!!
Same here with the G36. Also AP isnāt able to keep GS, itās always too high (probably for the same reason).
Please open a Zendesk ticket about this issue, I did that as well.
With the VS mode of automatic driving, only two climb rates can be set, one is +1500 and the other is +1312, and other values cannot be adjusted manually. May I ask why?
Pretty minor as far as bugs go but the wing ice lights default to on, despite the switch being off. You either have to cycle the switch or put the switch down to the annunciator test to turn them off.
Did you change the units from US to Hybrid? If so, try setting it back to US since the other modes have issues.
Other people report similar/same issues:
change to US is all ok , thank you very much !!!
noticed a small glitch.
the number for āGal Usedā on ND always resets to zero if you leave and reopen the ENG -> FULE page
yeah thats a known bug across the whole sim
I couldnāt help myself
Changes:
- Propcontrol is standard. Files and settings can easily be changed out*
- Changed the RPM curve. Windmilling idle set to 2200rpm
- Added a PDF explaining how FADECs work and how to change**
- Reduced Turbo spool up time***
- Improved Autopilot PIDs, again****
*Yeah I should stop confusing people. If you would like to switch engine control type, the files are there and the PDF explains how.
**If something is still not understood then please ask and I can update it
***Increasing the manifold pressure, decreases the turbo spool up time⦠This is so wrong. By default the turbo wastegate is full opened, not closed like on a real turbo. Increasing the Max manifold pressure makes it react faster
****Still WIP, but better than before.
Hello. I have never installed a MOD in FS2020. I would like to try this one (DA62X Project)⦠my question is⦠it worths the try? is it better than the standard version?
Thanks in advance
100% yes
