Would love to see the Pad Input fixed

I was just unfamiliar these birds still. Screwing up the multi toggle AP and doing things too quickly without looking. Its all working fine now. I actually used to work at BAE Systems as a software engineer. Now Im civil engineer in the Minnesota Air National Guard for the F16 fleet. Not much of a real pilot myself but Ive ridden shotgun in block 50 F16Ds doing diagnostics for IRST and ECM pods. Believe me when I say its probably an easier job than designing entire planes to look and function proper in a virtual setting. I have to travel constantly so I cant bring my desktop everywhere. Ive had bad experiences with gaming laptops. The Series X is just so convenient. Just need a controller and a screen. I got a new HOTAS on the way too. Especially now that the texture quality and performance on the xbox has been improved. Many pilots here actually play this game for geographical familiarization for upcoming training sorties. and I guarantee you some pilots will buy and use your products for that extra training.

Final note. So many aircraft have had internal refits over the years. All we have combat fighter wise are F16s here but some were just flat out Jury rigged in many ways. Aftermarket replacements to insure functionality that were meant to be temporary that just kind of stuck. What was once a switch, knob or button in the 80s may look or even BE something totally different now. Especially when data links are integrated into old airframes. All Im saying is, see frequent criticism about differing interior details from flyboys who probably flew a Frankenstein without even knowing it. Im sure you guys know all this with the research you have to do. Just keep up the good work and thank you for providing us often forgotten console peasants with some of the coolest machines ever designed.

Also, Is the refueling probe just an emergency cheat button? Lol

I suppose Dean made the bird ready for future features when Asobo provides more things.
We all have seen DCS refueling in the air etc. That’s my guess. As we are starting to have aircraft carriers and fighter jets

Easiest tell is the ferrings on the fins. They’re the same size on the EX.

I never noticed that. I usually tell by the silver beefier engine nozzles on the EX

Im not sure why but a after messing with inputs. This configuration solved the throttle desync on xbox controllers. Engine 2 would lag behind increasing and decreasing at about 1:2. Somehow this fixed it.

@QuickSlashGiB What actions were they tied to before? Just out of curiosity.

Was it “Throttle Increase (Small)” and “Throttle 2 Increase (Small)” that corrected it for you, on your xbox controller?

Simply A button for increase thrust and B button for decrease is the default. The universal options with no numbers. Im not sure if other people are having a different ratio of them being out of sync but somebody else test it. Make sure to remove all other throttle inputs. This config both increases and decreases throttle at the usual speed of other aircraft too.

Thanks for all the input and the amazing work fixing the engine issue on the F-15! That one had everybody confused - I couldn’t test it as I don’t own an Xbox Series console yet. I will pass the solution on to Just Flight for their product support page

You are legend mate!!! I will definitely try this out right now and will be back. This has been the bane of the F15’s Xbox existence.

You fixed it before 2022, thanks alot!

I tried it on Xbox series X and Xbox elite wireless controller series 2.

I set it, but it doesn’t seem to work on my F-15.
At first, there was a slight error, but as the output increased and decreased repeatedly, the error increased, and the left and right sides became separate.

Also, I flew with the F-14 with this setting, but there seems to be a difference in the left and right outputs.

I’m using translation, so I’m sorry if I made a mistake.

Its working on the C and E for me perfectly. Working for my buddy too. Went from Cairo to dublin intercepting and winging up with randoms along the way. Make sure there is nothing else bound to throttle changes.

I checked the settings, but it doesn’t seem to work.
The setting screen, F-15C, F-14A.
What’s the difference?

I’ve done a couple flights now and it seems to checkout so far. It does act a little out of synch, within 1% difference at the early stage of a flight but comes good after a bit. I got myself a chatpad the other day and binded throttle 1 and 2 to the spacebar which works fine as well but decreasing in the same way to another key doesn’t work. Your way for decreasing has so far completed the final piece of the puzzle.

Needs increase throttle (small) instead of the regular one.

engine 1 is double registering inputs from controllers for whatever reason. I havent even seen them desync by 1% since using this.

it is complete! !!
thank you.

On the contrary, it seems that problems will occur with the F-14, so I made a controller profile exclusively for the F-15.

Thanks.
