I haven’t seen one video how to use the blower option in the dc3, i looked in the manual and nothing. There’s a low blower and high blower but darned i know how to use it property, same as the cowl flap settings, i really don’t see any big temp change on opening and closing them either
I googled “DC3 Aircraft Blower” and this came up, not MSFS related but explains what the blower is and what it is used for.
Interesting, I know the PMDG Dc6 has them and they work but this one not sure if it works .
Isn’t there a placard in the MSFS DC-3 that says it is automatic and the manual operation of the supercharger is inop? Pretty sure I saw that a few days ago.
Yes, i seen that also, what got me going on this is around 8,000 feet I run out of smash - a term used when you are high and out of throttle on these clunkers. at 40 in. manifold pressure, then at 9,600 feet without touching anything the throttles jump up to 45 inches, I look and i see the two super charge levers are pulled right back towards the trim wheel and i’m wondering if these just kicked themselves into super charge mode or what.
