The CRJ is flyable ( I fly the 900 every now and then ) but updates are still all promises rather than progress and it still has some big issues - some you can carefully work around but others there’s nothing you can do. The only other decent regional jet I know of is the 146, which doesn’t have rear engines, obviously.
