Decent regional jet suggestions?

The Leonardo Maddog is a nice flyer, once you get used to its quirks. (You really have to fly that bird; it won’t fly itself. Well, actually it WILL fly itself, but probably not how/where you want it to fly…) But I wouldn’t really call it a regional jet - the MD-82 that Leonardo models had a range of about 2000nm and could carry 150+ passengers. That’s closer to a 737 classic (e.g. a -300) than to, say, an E-Jet.

As far as true regional jets go with your desired characteristics, right now it’s the CRJ or nothing, I think (since the 146 is right out). At least until the Fokkers come out. I like the CRJ, although it’s consistently been a beeyotch to land for me. (It requires a deft touch on the throttle to keep your speed up and still be descending at the proper rate on an ILS approach.)
