I’m in need of something new to fly 
As the PS5 market is still quite new, and I’m not familiar with all the manufacturers and aircraft in general – plus the reviews online mostly relate to PC – my question is: which of the following would be a good choice, or indeed the best one from this selection?
FlightFX Piaggio P.180 Avanti II
FSReborn Embrear 300E Phantom
FlightFX Cessna Citation X
FlightFX Honda Jet HA420
I have 300e on ps5, it has its own hits and misses. But overall I like it very much, cuz it gives a whole new dimensions compared to any other planes, and also dev’s response @discord is superb.
Hit : real-time passenger satisfaction system (keeps long crz entertaining), custom FBO (really makes airports more personal, just love that retractable mullion at hanger!)
Miss: some cockpit panel text are blurry at night & AP panel is really hard to see (so no night flight atm, but thankfully dev is looking at it)
These developers are all very good and you can’t go wrong.
If I were to decide for one of the planes, I‘d go with the FlightFX Citation X.
Disclaimer: I am on PC, not PS5. But I heard the Citation X performs well after the latest V2 update.
I would agree with the above that these developers are solid and you really can’t make a bad choice here. All of the above aircraft are Career compatible, if that matters to you, though there’s some variations as to which Career Specializations each are compatible with specifically.
The P.180 is the most unique of the four being a turboprop with a really unique design and good systems. For me, it not using Garmin avionics is a plus because I find those to be “too easy” sometimes and aircraft that use them all start to look and feel the same for me, which isn’t what I’m looking for personally.
I don’t own the Phenom yet but it’s very high on my “To Buy” list - this one also offers some really unique features like an FBO creator tool that lets you customize airports to have a base of operations for your private jet. It also has a really in-depth passenger management system that sort of adds an entirely new minigame layer to the sim by managing passenger comfort and satisfaction throughout the flight.
The Citation X, like the P.180, offers a non-Garmin avionics suite that keeps my interest really well, and the new V2 update has brought a ton of life to this already great aircraft. Of the four, this is my personal top pick.
The HJet is sleek, simple, and very easy to operate perfectly. This is a great choice if you just want to be able to quickly jump in and go flying without much of a learning curve.
Disclaimer: I’ve not used any of the above aircraft (or even the sim in general) on PS5 so I can’t comment on any platform-specific concerns that might exist with any of these.
