I just discovered the above option in the General menu, Accessibility option. Adding the “High Contrast” make the colors much more vibrant and the the scenery is now much sharper. I did not notice any loss of frame rate with the change.

Interesting. I’ll give it a try and see how it goes on my monitor.
Those are settings for the menus, not the actual game world or scenery.

Well it must have been the Placebo effect. I really thought that the distant scenery looked sharper.

Yeah, it makes no difference. It’s specifially UI colour settings for people with vision issues. The big USER INTERFACE title to the menu says it all.
