Are there ever going to be updates/fixes to the default Virus’ avionics? I thought WT were updating all of them so they could work with an updated AI system but I haven’t heard anything in quite a while. It only seems like jets that are getting updates now.

I certainly hope they change their mind. The improvements on all the rest of the Garmins as well as the avionics updates for the Boeing AC have been nothing less than stellar.

As welcome as the recently announced SR22 updates are I think the G3X is in a much worse state and should of been prioritised over improving a single aircraft. Let’s hope the G3X finally gets some attention in SU15.
On which sim? FS2020 or 2024?

It was a light hearted response to the SU15 bit that you mentioned. I would like to see the Pipistrel updated and would use it. An enjoyable little aircraft really, but God knows whether it will ever get a meaningful update.
The G3X must surely be updated at some point but yes good point it’s possible that it could drag out to 2024 however laughable we all may think that is.
Personal Comments and Observations
Since I started this Wishlist, I’ve been closely monitoring and yes where possible putting in my 2 cents (i.e., being a pain 
) over at Working Title to see where this might be on the roadmap.
The current driver appears to be Jorg’s delivery first on his promise to enhance some of the Premium and Premium Deluxe content aircraft - certainly the Longitude, B7xx were part of that, and now the Cirrus.
Unfortunately, WT can only work on so many projects at a time, and they even chip in on the other Asobo workstreams like Graphics Card troubleshooting/compatibility and of course ATC, Nav Planning etc. Matt keeps things close to the vest and for good reason.
With Jorg’s promise to update the high-end license content, the elephant in the room is the King Air. Based on the Cirrus development, we now know there is resourcing available to change cockpit poly and art, which would be required to make the KA whole. What I suspect will happen is if this plane gets updated, the incorrect G3X suite will be ripped out and a version of the PL21 will be installed. The fallback would be to install the G1000 NXi, which is now available in the real world as a Type specific STC.
As welcome as that change would be, it doesn’t help move the G3X forward. Based on informal count, we’re Number 70 or 72 in the Wishlist as sorted by votes. We need to get this item visible so we start showing up on the 1 to 49 list which is what’s shown on the Dev Stream slides.
It’s interesting that PL21 is nicely simulated in the CJ4 and KA uses that too, so I imagine it wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility that with extra tweaks it could be adapted to the KA, but that’s just me thinking “out loud” 
I’ve been thinking the same ever since the PL was updated. It’s the obvious choice. As mentioned though it doesn’t help the G3X. I mean the aircraft count that use it is quite high but sadly a lot of those are third party.
