When there’s another 20GB ready to download, can you either email me so I can start the download early, or notify me in session, but allow me to choose “Now” or “Later”?
When I get an hour for lunch and want to hop on the sim, I would prefer to just fly with any existing bugs, and download the patch after lunch, rather than spend my lunch watching a progress bar!

Agree with that. Advanced notice so you can schedule around your play time.
However, I just wrote this on another post. Once the update has been released I understand why everyone must update.
The problem with allowing updates to be ignored or postponed on a game where there is a single online world is some people will be running a different code base which creates problems for everyone.
Good idea about being notified though. Even if it means running it up in the morning so it’s ready for lunch.
