There are many great airports among the French examples I recently added to the map. These that I will share some screenshots of are just a few of the standouts I’ve noticed. It’s just amazing the number of default MSFS 2024 airports, like these, which aren’t indicated in the menu/map as being hand-crafted, despite the incredible attention to detail by Asobo (or contracted developer).

It’s a shame that the supposed merging of map data / shared world between 2020 and 2024 doesn’t result in any of these wonderful finds showing up in the earlier sim.

This is handcrafted, part of the Eastern Europe World Update. Nice one, but not fitting to the theme of the thread but it proves how the lines between these two categories are blurring, which is a good thing.

Thank you for the heads-up, Craig! That is a wonderful little airfield, which I will now be using quite a bit as well - a really great area to go flying around as well. As mentioned, since that one is a bespoke airfield (indicated as being hand-crafted from the in-game menu), I’m going to leave it off the map.

Add Leadville, CO (KLXV) to the list. Note: it needs updating, but it’s definitely on the “plus” list, with several gliders and realistic buildings present.
