Noticed missing aircraft after 1.29.30.0. Example: b787 is in list in the ‘official\OneStore’ directory but does not show up in available A/C in flt planning or Hanger. Also in Dev\tools “Virtual File System” “Watched Bases” which indicated where to look for A/C. ?? OneStore folder exists in ONLY its proper location: username\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Official\OneStore HELP MUCH APPRECIATED …
Personal Comments and Observations
Use Content Manager under your Profile and search for “787”. Any content with that string will appear as long as your license version entitles you to it.
Content Manager shows several iterations of b787 but no such aircraft in hanger or world flight planning sections. Also note “watched Bases” option in dev/tools/virtual file system" disappeared with 1.29.30.0 upgrade. Noy sure how software knows where to look for files.
do you own Premium Deluxe?
Version is “Standard” but I had the same question. If not authorized in Standard edition, why the several Asobo-b787-10 iterations in the options/onestore folder AND in the “content manager” in the game?
The existence of a folder with this name doesn’t mean you’re authorized to install it. It could be simply a placeholder.
Simple answer to this: liveries. If you installed some livery packs (like the official ones) these folders are installed too. You can safely delete them.
All the b787 iterations indicate they are installed and include the same information as the other aircraft, like the b747, next to it. Go figure. Thanks for your time folks, but it looks like any further pursuit is futile. …
