Developer stream Dec 4. What do you want to know from the devs? (unofficial)

But tedious to manage across various stores and websites vs all in one shop

GogrumpyGo Absolutely i get in and checked the planes scenery etc it Looks Dreadful. MSFS2020 is much nicer and better. its now the 4th of December and still I cant see anything changed. its all boiled down to MONEY they wanted them christmas sales its disgraceful…I Remember that Dev stream with Jorg couple weeks back he was all excited and said we are Ready and its going to be Amazing…that a JOKE.

As much as I am struggling with the new simulator, I’m inclined to cut the dev team (and Jorg) some slack. It must be a living nightmare at the moment - they know the sim isn’t up to scratch, whether that be because things are broken, unfinished or unanticipated. Maybe some of it isn’t their fault (higher ups) and some of it is - most likely a combination of the above.

Thankfully I have 2020 and X-Plane … all I want is a plan going forwards and an acknowledgement that the sim needs to change, because that’s the only direction available.

come one give me a break. They are adults and know exactily what will come. They are responsible and not some mysterious higher up. There is an influence but you are not geting in to the possition Jƶrg is at MS without knowing the rules of engagement.

I would like to know why certain advertised features are currently not available in the sim. Most importantly the big absence of wake turbulence is baffling.

Also, how were all these planes released with obvious bugs?

I could cut the devs some slack if there was only some minor bugs. Lets just face the facts. We paid in most cases hundreds of dollars for a sim that looks like it wasn’t tested at all. A simple QA and/or internal testing team would seen these showstopper bugs within minutes. A few simple bugs could of got through, but several incomplete aircraft that don’t even have gauges showing? Or multiple aircraft with inop gauges and/or controls? Im sure someone internally could of loaded up each aircraft for a quick 5 minute check and see the very obvious bugs. I could see it if it was a $20 game with one or two devs, but this is a sim costing hundreds with possibly hundreds of devs when you look at the third party devs…and nobody could do a 5 min check on each aircraft before release??

To be Honest we will not get anything Concrete Tonight thats if it goes ahead. I would rather them to stop and cancel the whole MSFS2024 Because we are going to go through hell. we have already been punished enough with all the lies. just pull the Plug and refund Everyone. I had Premium Deluxe it was an early christmas present now I feel sick.

is the stream on youtube and what time does anyone know? Im in Spain

Enough with the hyperbole please, you’re not going through hell just cos the sim has a bunch of bugs, sure it sucks, but cancelling MSFS2024, really?

Agreed; nothing they will say today will make everyone happy and knowing previous dev streams, they may not even realize the actual damage that’s been done from their credibility standpoint.

that said, as critical as I’ve been these last several days, I just had my first successful free flight in the amazing Fenix A321. We are still FAR away from a good sim experience though. I don’t care one iota about the default aircraft, outside of Inibuilds… that said, I hope Jorg learns that a proper alpha and a proper beta should have been OBVIOUS and it should have happened 6 months ago.

I think most of us are tired of being the consumer guinea pigs. We want a working sim with what we were sold when we paid them our money. It’s that simple.

True - but railing on them is not going to get anywhere is it? They already know a lot of people are unhappy. What I want to know is how it’s going to get sorted out and it won’t get sorted out any time soon if the development team are suffering.

Jorg’s role right now is to protect his team, acknowledge the shortcomings and communicate with the community of their intentions going forwards.

Ok do I need twitch I think its x now or will it be here on forum live?

I think higher ups above jorg pushed it out door possibly. Because pretty much every plane has obvious cant miss issues and the base sim too. Stuff you see every time you fly so you know they seen it too.
