As a handy way to deploy the dragchute:
I assigned Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant joystick button 27 to be sim event TOGGLE FLIGHT DIRECTOR which is what the SSW F-104 uses to signal the dragchute deployment. That button 27 is activated when the Joystick R Axis Y lever is pulled all the way back past the detent to the stop. I use Joystick R Axis Z for my throttle lever in the F-104, and the Joystick R Axis Y isn’t used for the F-104 (that axis is the PROPELLER control when used in a single-engine turboprop), so using that lever to trigger the button 27 is handy as it is just to the right of the throttle lever which, by the time you would deploy the dragchute, should be all the way back to its idle detent position.
Once the dragchute has been deployed though, be sure to return the lever to a position up along the axis to deactivate button 27, so that when you subsequently press on the keyboard LeftCtrl Shift R
that will cut away (disconnect) the dragchute, re-pack it, and reset its control handle in the cockpit, provided that the airplane is on the ground when you press the keys for this reset.
Can’t twist the GRIV knob in my version,
I get the coordinates from latlong or google maps and they are converted and checked already.
Magnetic deviation was the first thing that came up to me, and probably is the error.
but i’m not able to fix it within the program until now.
any other suggestions?

Great to hear that we will get the single seater for XBOX. The TF104G is flying nice on PC with tip tanks. Looking forward to to the new aircraft and updates for XBOX, just have to wait for Marketplace. Thanks for keeping us up to date with all of the ongoing projects.
… sorry I forgot to specify which tank selector … I mean that switch on the left console that says EXTERNAL Tip Both Pylon … under the REFUEL …
Thank you
aside from fixing the leading edge slats that ssw broke, please fix the VR pilot issue that a user gave ssw the fixed before. the VR issue is when returning from outside view to the cockpit view, the pilot appears in the cockpit.
here’s the fix that’s been spoon fed to ssw before:
The easiest thing to try would be reinstalling it. If you’re on PC, you could also delete the cached data for the 104 from the appdata folders. If none of that works, it’s most likely interfering with another addon. If that’s the case you could move your community folder to a temp location and run the sim with just the 104 and see if it works then.
