Hello Sim Skunkworks Team. Love the new version 1.3.7 of the FRF-104G. First thing I noticed were the mirrors look really nice. I only did one take off and noticed in the outside view that the nose wheel was spinning 360 degrees as soon as I input steering using my rudder pedals. The aircraft continues straight down the runway with the nose wheel spinning(PC version of course right at the moment). Just thought I would bring this to your attention.
The TF104G is looking great with leading edges in place for flights without tips.
I will be trying them both out a little later.

I will be picking up the XBOX version of the FRF-104G as well. Hopefully the nose wheel spinning can be easily fixed.

Thank you for the updates! But please don’t rush it. Give the aircraft a good once over, looking at all aspects and making sure everything is (still) working as intended before releasing. Slow is smooth and smooth is fast. 
Gotta say I agree. The last 2-3 updates have had issues (albeit small ones). I’d rather wait longer for an update I don’t have to worry about.
I ask understanding for us, it often happens, as in the case of nose gear, that it is not completely our fault but the bad habit of Asobo to make undocumented changes, the nose gear worked well until two releases ago. I understand your reasons, but you also understand ours, if you want to help us, you also complain to Asobo that they often make code-breaking changes without this being documented.
In this particular case the logic of the nose gear animation was changed without any mention on the SDK

I would have to agree that understanding is in order. I have always tried to give the developers a break because this type of problem has existed from the very start of this simulator.
I will be patient and just glad we will have both of the iconic F-104 versions to put through their paces.
I hope Asobo will try not to make it impossible to keep all of the various aircraft people buy, working into the future. It must be tough to keep up with the changes.

Hello PaternalSmile51. I would like to let you know that the Marketplace version of the FRF104-G single seater is showing a picture of the NASA two seat TRF104G. This could possibly lead to some confusion on current purchases for new customers. Still only showing for PC but the wrong picture.
After the latest 1.3.7 update of the F-104G - in addition to the wheel that rotates 360° - all models appear as RF-104. Does this happen to anyone else too?

Besides the issue of nose gear we found another problem on the selection of the TACAN mode that makes the TACAN unusable, this will impose a new version in a short time

Just tried version 1.3.8 from Sim market with fixed nose wheel rotation and tacan fix.
Thanks very much. I am having a problem where the cockpit section and seats disappeared from many of my add on liveries. I believe it has to do with the barcode. Any idea why just the interior would be gone for add on liveries.
In the past I’ve seen this when I had a custom registration set and clearing it made the seats re-appear.

After fiddling around with the barcodes for several hours with no success, I simply changed one word in the model.cfg of my addon liveries and everything looks fine now!
