… very strange … the opposite happens to me, the additional planes are completely without external tanks …
I am using airshow assistant beta in MSFS 2024 and can actually make both the single seat and dual seat show at the same time.In my screenshots you can see the second single seat F-104 has all the fuel tanks displayed. The F-104A 12700 is my repaint from Sim Skunk Works RCAF 60770( thanks for livery 60770 which actually became 12700 when it was converted in Cold Lake,Alberta 1965) The liveries of RCAF 12707(single seat) and 12640(dual seat) are liveries made by my favorite livery artist jocko417. Thanks for the excellent liveries jocko417 as my screenshots would not be possible without your work. The screenshots are just print screens from a video I made as I always use HDR and the Nvidia format .jxr cannot be sent. Sorry if the shots look washed out or off in some way. Just sending them to show an example of the tanks showing on the second F-104. I am going to try and figure out how to have just tip tanks on all aircraft but I am sceptical weather it can be done or not.
Hi, the photos are great, I have to apologize because I didn’t specify that I use the TF in FS2020, however I note, in the photo in formation of 3, that you also see the clean version and therefore without additional tanks… I would like to know how to solve this bug… I wrote to the AirshowAssistant website and they replied that they would have solved it but they didn’t solve anything…
Thanks for your effort reaching out to the creator of AirshowAssistant. I just thought I would show the formation of three as an example. It is strange how the FRF-104 shows all tanks on the second in formation and that the TF-104 comes up in a clean configuration.
I still think that the program is a great addition to MSFS 2024 and hope with the release of the Marketplace version, that improvements can be made. I may try and reach out to the developer as well, once it has been officially released for MSFS 2024. Thanks again and have a great day.
… I went back to retrieve my post written to Airshow Assistant where I reported the problem and I have to be honest their response was not to believe too much in a solution… I really think they were right…
If I understand correctly, it should be the individual developer who has to request authorizations from Asobo for “cosmetic” weapons.
I hope that the version currently in development, in addition to the weapons and the ORPHEUS photographic reconnaissance pod, can also include the F104S version of the Zipper in the same package. I know, dreaming is cheap…
Any way to jettison fuel pylons or tips individually? I only know how to drop them all at at once.
When the new Zipper and Gina for msfs2024?
